1. What has surprised you most about working in this industry?

I’ve learned you need to be prepared for things to not go 100% as expected in manufacturing. Having this approach forces us to plan as well as we can while also pushing through the unforeseen obstacles with a more “can do” positive attitude.

2. Do you have any pets, either currently or from your childhood?

Growing up, I had a rabbit named Vince, named after Vince Coleman of the St. Louis Cardinals (my family and I are big St. Louis Cardinals fans).

3. Do you have a mentor? If so, what is one of the most important lessons you learned from him/her?

Give others the benefit of the doubt.

4. What is one food you couldn’t live without?

Bearded Brothers bars :)

5. What was your very first job?

Mowing lawns

6. If you could switch places with one person (living or dead) for a day, who would it be?

This is fresh on my mind because it just happened. Watching the end of the Masters this year had me thinking how special of a moment that must be when you win the tournament. Celebrating with your family and the crowd, beautiful setting, great history. I’m not even that big of a golf fan, but that looked like a uniquely meaningful and fun moment to experience…so I’ll say Jon Rahm for his recent win of the Master.
