The June HR Roundtable will focus on the tools HR professionals need to communicate with management about the importance of onboarding as it relates to retention and turnover. A survey designed by HAM will collect data to be summarized and translated into actionable data HR can use with executives to support the importance of a vigorous onboarding process.

This working session will be led by Marian Wells, Founder and Managing Partner of HAM, who will lead an honest discussion around the critical topic of onboarding and how it relates to turnover, retention, and orientation. Using the data gathered from the initial survey and the outcomes of the roundtable discussion, HAM will create another mini survey for members and executives, the results of which will be presented by Ms. Wells at the 2025 Central Texas Manufacturing Conference & Expo on Oct. 1 & 2 at the Kalahari Resorts & Conventions. The goal of these sessions is to create a solid date profile that HR can use to present to executive management to support the importance of a vigorous onboarding process.

The initial survey will be sent to members of the HR group early next week.
