ARMA Announces New Executive Director

Dear ARMA Members,

Please join me in welcoming Molly Young-Merritt to ARMA! She brings more than twenty years of experience strengthening partnerships, advancing organizational priorities, and leading strategic initiatives in industry engagement, community collaboration, and economic development. Throughout her career, she has worked with leaders across sectors to support business growth, collaboration, and long-term regional competitiveness.

Prior to joining ARMA, Molly led community relations and external affairs for a Fortune 500 energy company, strengthening partnerships across Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. She has also consulted with organizations on stakeholder engagement, fundraising, policy, communications, and strategic planning, helping leaders build partnerships and move complex initiatives forward. Her background also includes directing education and workforce investments within a philanthropic organization, giving her a deep understanding of how to align people, priorities, and partnerships to create lasting impact.

When asked about joining ARMA, Molly shared: “I am grateful for the opportunity to join ARMA at a time when manufacturing is central to the region’s growth and opportunity. I look forward to working with members, partners, and the Board to strengthen the workforce pipeline, support advocacy that reflects the needs of manufacturers, and build connections that advance shared priorities for employers and communities.”

Outside of work, Molly values time with family, enjoys reading and travel, and brings a deep appreciation for the perspectives gained through different experiences and cultures.
