5th Annual Golf Tournament

The 5th Annual Golf Tournament presented by Bank SNB was a great success. According to many, it was the best one yet. It sold out in 12 hours. We had over 37 teams and more than 180 people at Avery Ranch Golf Course. Thanks to our sponsors and players, we raised $58,000 to support initiatives that will strengthen regional manufacturing including efforts to help build talent pipelines.

ARMA Consortium Receives $425,000

ARMA is happy to announce that the Texas Workforce Commission just awarded an ARMA Consortium and Austin Community College $425,000. The grant will provide customized training for more than 400 new and incumbent workers at manufacturing firms in Austin, including 3M, Applied Materials, Athena Manufacturing, KoMiCo, and TASUS. Manufacturing Day 2016 | ARMA Promotes Careers in...

In an effort to address a projected shortage of engineers and qualified technicians, the Austin Regional Manufacturers Association (ARMA) has organized facility tours for students to promote the good paying jobs available in manufacturing. The average wage for the region is $106,000 a year, one of the highest in the country for manufacturing and a testament to the advanced nature of the products being made in the region.
