100% morning person. My first goal everyday is to be up before the sun. To me there are few things more rewarding than getting a head start on your day. And yes, this goes for weekends too.

It’s the people. Austin American Technology has been here in Central Texas for 35 years and is built on the backs of some great people that are still here to this day. Plus, I get to work with some of the biggest tech companies in the world. You know, the ones you read about in the news every day. It’s fun and something I never thought I would be doing.

Sicily! And I know nothing about he place. Someone told me about Sicily when I was very young and it has stuck with me as a dream vacation ever since.

This one is going to surprise you all, because it is not work related. When I found out I was having my first child, my Mentor and Great Friend, Brian Blackburn, put his arm around me and said, “You are not joining your kid’s life, you child is joining your life” And I truly believe every first time parent needs to hear this.

Oh… This one is sad. Yes, I have had my best friend Buddy for that last 15 years. He lived an amazing life and gave joy to so many people. Buddy has peacefully moved on and we miss him dearly.

I enjoy sports and I love the outdoors. As much as I try to maintain a firm grasp on my youth by still competing in rec league, these days I am having a lot of fun chasing my kiddos around the playground.
