Austin Energy provides power to roughly 50,000 businesses in and around Austin. The utility, which is celebrating it’s 125th year serving the community, has a long history of innovation and environmental protection, and yet has maintained some of the lowest electric rates in the region. This has been in no small part thanks to partnering with their customers. Join us for lunch to learn about Austin Energy’s history and current programs, including how Austin Energy can help your company meet your sustainability goals, and ways your business can save money this summer and beyond.

Speaker Bio:

Danielle Murray is the Manager of Commercial & Key Accounts at Austin Energy. With a team of nine account managers, the Key Accounts group is focused on the roughly 150 largest customers at the utility, which account for about 40% of electric sales, along with a mid-market segment including national accounts, manufacturing, and other large C&I customers. The team works with customers and internal work groups to provide excellent customer service, facilitate new electrical service and upgrades, and support customers in meeting their power quality, reliability, energy efficiency and renewable energy goals. Before joining Key Accounts, Danielle spent five years as the Manager of Customer Renewable Energy Solutions at Austin Energy, overseeing the municipal utility’s distributed generation and green power programs, and previously worked in renewable energy and energy efficiency at the San Francisco Department of Environment and Toronto Energy Office. Danielle received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Stanford University and Master’s degrees in Planning and Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto.
